Why We Do This

Our Philosophy: The Geometry of Joy

At Proportion Guitars, we believe that a child’s first notes should be defined by discovery, not by a struggle against their own instrument. Our work is guided by a simple truth: A guitar must fit the player; the player should never have to distort themselves to fit the guitar.

The Priority of Ergonomics

The size of a classical guitar must be proportional to the stature of the student. When a guitar is too large, the student is forced into unnatural postures that lead to tension, poor technique, and—in the worst cases—physical injury.
We specialize in fractional-size instruments with classical proportions designed for small hands. In these formative years, comfort and ease of playing are more important than volume. An ergonomic guitar removes the physical barriers to practice, allowing the child to focus entirely on the music.

The Pedagogy of Sound

While playability is our first concern, the voice of the instrument is never overlooked. A guitar is a teacher in its own right. An instrument that produces a clear, refined sound makes technical mistakes more evident, providing the honest feedback a student needs to grow. Conversely, it rewards good technique with a beautiful, resonant response, encouraging the student to keep playing.

Quality Without Compromise

We believe that every child deserves a professional-grade experience, regardless of their budget. Our mission is to provide instruments that are accessible and affordable without sacrificing quality.

"We are not just distributing guitars; we are cultivating the next generation of artists."
